February 1st & 2nd at Winter Park in Colorado for Demo Days!
Five testers from Alpine Accessories Ski and Board shop went to the Winter Park Demo Days to test the new 2010-2011 equipment from Salomon, K2 and Atomic. We needed to see ourselves if rocker works before placing orders for next season. After testing, all our testers agreed that rocker allows skis and snowboards to initiate turns easier. So much, that some testers didn’t want to give them back and keep them. Look for a new trend in equipment.

At one time, all skis looked alike. Much different from they way they are now. I predict within 3 years, we will again see a new ski technology that will make skis we have now, look aged.
Many ski and board manufactures are coming out with a selection of models that have rocker. But K2 and Flow are two manufactures that are leading the way with rocker! Almost every model they offer for 2010-2011 will have rocker. This new technology will make your skis turn easier, especially at slower speeds and in slush or powder. Just like the shorter wider skis we have now, rocker is something you can see, touch, feel and understand why it will work for you.
Make sure to stop by. We have skis and boards on the rack now with rocker and we can show you how this new technology will work for you.
